Thomas Paul Sabourin - 1954 to 2008

At two locations along Sacramento's American River Parkway, you will find a very special memorial to Tom.  An avid cyclist and supporter of the Parkway, Tom's family and friends donated money to establish two benches along the bicycle trail.  As Tom was unpretentious and unostentatious in life, so these memorials simply and beautifully state "Tom's Bench."
